India is famous for Street Chinese food. So, today I am writing about one most famous Indian Chinese Food Recipe called “Chili Chicken”. Because I know we are crazy about Indian Street Food. When you go somewhere and feel hungry, then these street foods are the only way to relief. We know all foods are made in Palm oil which is injurious to health. So if you try Fried rice and chili Chicken, it is comparable low injurious and also has low Palm oil.
You can also try to make it at home because in the dinner plate Chili Chicken with Tandoori roti is famous. If you are a Desi-Chaines lover, then you don’t forget Chili Chicken. It can be used as a party starter if you make it dry, but many of us also prefer it as a gravy which testes best when it server with Fried Noodles. So start the Chilli Chicken Recipe.
Two types of Chili Chicken are famous, 1. Dry Chili Chicken, 2. Gravy Chili Chicken

Ingredients of Chili Chicken
We divide the ingredients list into two parts like one is for batter part, and the second is stir fry part.
For batter part of Chili Chicken:
Boneless Chicken – 500 grams (3/4 inch pieces)
All Purpose Flour (Maida) – approx 3 tbsp
Corn flour – approx 3 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – ½ tbsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
Chili Powder – ½ tbsp
Pepper Powder – ½ tbsp
Egg – 1 Pcs
Dry Chillies – 2 pcs
For the stir fry part of Chili Chicken:
Oil – 1.5 tbsp
Green Chillies – 3-4 pcs
Garlic – 1 tbsp(finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 tbsp(finely chopped)
Spring Onion – 2-3 pcs (then chopped finely)
Onion – 3 pcs
large Capsicum – 1 pcs large
Soya Sauce – 2 tbsp
Tomato Sauce – 2 tbsp
Chilli Powder – ½ tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Bell pepper – 2 pcs
Red Chilli – 2 pcs.
Make sure all the ingredients are ready before starting the cooking. It is best if you keep each of it in a separate small bowl. These all ingredients are easily available in every grocery shop and vegetables are available in the vegetable shop. So quick make it all ready. After that, we will jump on to the cooking part of it. Take all the chicken and cut into ¾ inch pcs carefully with the help of a knife. Then wash it with fresh water. Is possible wash it once after the warm water. Its help to clean all germs on the chicken pieces. Then take a large bowl, it is better to take a big glass bowl or anything you want. Now mix the chicken with ginger garlic paste, oil and corn flour gently. Notice all those are mixed well. Don’t forget to mix salt with it. Thereafter add Soya Sauce, Chili sauce, Chili Powder, pepper powder and egg also. Mix them well and set it aside for marinating up to 15 minutes. It is better if you put it marinate about 1 hour.

Take a pan, pour some oil on it and let it deep heat or high heat. Keep your eyes on it, when the oil is hot enough start adding the pieces of chicken one by one and deep fry for 5-8 minutes until its color become golden brown. Thereafter take the chicken pieces out from the pan. You can use some tissue paper to absorb the extra oil from it and set it aside in a bowl.
Let the chicken fry pieces normal in temperature.
In this meanwhile, quickly make the Gravy of Chili Chicken, if you prefer gravy.
Again take a bowl for gravy and whisk all the ingredients of gravy like Soya Sauce, Chili Sauce, Tomato Sauce, chili powder, black pepper powder and also vinegar. Then add two teaspoon water with it and mix well.
Then place the Pan on oven top and heat some oil. Put chopped green chilies, chopped ginger and chopped garlic to stir well then add onions or cubed onion and fry it well up to brownish color. Add spring onion with it and stir once.
After the add spring onion doesn’t take a long time above a minute to cook, quickly add the fried chicken and capsicum also.
Decrease the flame of the oven in low and toss all the mixture well up to 2-3 minutes.
Add the gravy you have already make prepare before it with 2-3 tablespoon of water and toss everything very well. Notice that there is a good coat the chicken with sauce and look very nice. People also read:

Step by step Guide
Take 500 grams of boneless chicken with 1 1/2 tbsp chili sauce, 2 tbsp soya sauce, salt and 1 tbsp black pepper powder in a large bowl and mix it well. Then put it about 45 minutes to 1 hour to marinate. Its mean just keeps the chicken time to soak or absorb the flavor of masala.

Now add the cornflower like 2 tbsp and all-purpose flour 2 tbsp with it. If you like restaurant style Chilli Chicken then add some more flour for increasing the thickness of batter. mix it well with chicken and see the chicken is coated with full of batter. If you feel the mixture is too dry, then add some water as per your requirement and again mix again.
Let it wait for some time. In this meanwhile, we prepare the sauce.
No need to take a big bowl, just keep a small one. Now add 1/2 tbsp soya sauce, 1/2 tbsp vinegar, 1/2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, 1 tbsp Tomato sauce, 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder and mix all well. If you want to color then you can use more chilli powder for color.

Now Heat a pan on the oven and pour some oil and let it high heat. Add green chillies, onions, capsicum, spring onions and fry them until its all make brownish and little crunchy.
Thereafter put the chicken mixture on it and mix well. Cook for 3-5 minute till it smells a beautiful flavor. Then add the sauce mixture with it and stir in low flame.
Wait up to 5 minutes, and it’s done.
Then serve it with spring onion tops and also with coriander leaves and onion slice. Actually decoration with Spring Onions Green -ness will increase the beauty of the dish when you serve your guest.
In the case of dry Chili Chicken, use low quantity of sauce and use cornflour little more.
At the dinner time if you want to eat this, must try with tandoori roti. But in the case of lunch, we prefer Fried rise, and for Tiffin, you can go with “dry chili chicken” or “chili chicken with fried pan noodles”.
